When conveying material in horizontal and especially ascending direction, the material could slip off the smooth conveyor belt. We have found a solution to this problem. A special rubber coating with high friction ability and a special surface design both prevent the material from slipping off the conveyor belt.
We have developed three types: SUPERGRIP, FINEGRIP and NOPPEN 3 mm.
SUPERGRIP conveyor belts are particularly suitable for conveying at high angles and/or in wet and humid conditions.
Due to its better self-cleaning ability FINEGRIP conveyor belts are especially used where dust, fine-grained material and spills could affect the tread-pattern.
NOPPEN conveyor belts are suitable when very light and rolling material is conveyed; they are noted for a smooth return run and good cleaning ability.
The construction of SUPERGRIP, FINEGRIP and NOPPEN conveyor belts:
- two- or multiply EP carcass (warp polyester + weft polyamide) for trough-shaped conveyor belts
- two- or multiply EMF carcass (warp polyester + weft monofiles polyester) for flat conveying – cross-stable
- special, extra strong rubber interlayer (skimmed layer)
- rubber coating with high friction coefficient (black or green, non-staining)
- option with coating on the bottom surface for conveyors with rollers, or bare bottom for sliding operation
- NOPPEN conveyor belts are available in almost all cover qualities
With regard to the application there are two types available:
- EP – for trough-shaped conveyors
- EMF – cross stable variant for (non-through) flat conveying
SUPERGRIP, FINEGRIP and NOPPEN conveyor belts are basically used in:
- filling of bags and packaging devices
- mail deliveries transport
- transport of bags and reloading conveyor belts
- loading and unloading conveyor belts for piece goods
- transport of boxes and bottles
- transport of baggage (airports, railway stations, etc.)
- passenger transport
- timber, wood chips transport
SUPERGRIP, FINEGRIP and NOPPEN conveyor belts are suitable for the following applications:
- cement plants
- recycling, compost preparation and processing industry
- timber industry and sawmills, paper and pulp mills
- food industry
- beverage industry
- metal processing industry
- ski –lifts (passenger transport)
- chemical industry
- ...
- at your plant
Advantages:
- decrease in skidding between the material and conveyor belt
- ratio of grade up to 32° depending on the material (our technicians will be glad to assist in selecting a proper belt)
- good troughability (not valid with EMF)
- low cost endless splicing as with regular EP conveyor belts by hot curing or cold treatment and mechanical clamping
- favourable price/efficiency ratio in comparison with conveyor belts made of plastic material
- long service life
- high flexibility at temperatures below zero
Belt widths:
- 1300, 1600 mm with cut edges. Anglo-Saxon and other widths on request..
Belt constructions:
- EP250/2, EP400/3, EP500/4, EMF250/2, EMF400/3. Anglo-Saxon and other widths on request.
